Messiah Fellowship: Vijayawada Church Dedication June 2013

INDIA MISSION TRIP JUNE 2013: The focus of our trip was the dedication of a new church building to over 1,200 believers. For 30 years the fellowship moved from place to place without a church building. For several years in prayer, we asked the Lord to provide the local community of believers a large enough place to call their own; and, the Lord answered in His perfect timing and His perfect way. God provided Nations for Jesus the resources required to purchase a piece of land and to construct a church building in partnership with Messiah Fellowship.

This was a historic spiritual landmark for this body of believers and the realization of a dream. We celebrated and dedicated the building to the glory of God on Thursday, June 13, 2013. Approximately 1,700 people attended. The church building in India represents more than a convenient place to meet. It is a center for fellowship and a launch pad for sharing Christ's love with the community. Should the Lord tarry the structure will be intact for many, many years.

Three days of evangelistic meetings followed the celebration. In the presence and power of God several people were set free from various forms of idol worshipping and bondages. Please pray that this church will be a place of refuge for those who are in need and those who are hurting.
